Cara Connors

Cara Connors, a formerly kept woman and now out and proud divorcée, filmed her first major television taping at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and is the creator, writer and star of two original digital web series for CBC Comedy (“Cara Cooks” and “Every BLANK Ever”).

She is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory and has also trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. She was nominated for the Tim Sims Encouragement Award and a short film she co-starred in was a top 10 finalist at Kevin Hart’s short film contest at Just for Laughs. Her sketch duo “Only One of Us Is Jewish” has performed at the Toronto Sketchfest and the Big City Improv Festival.

Cara was first runner-up at the She Devil Comedy Festival in New York City, headlined at the Chicago Women’s Funny Festival and produces and hosted a popular weekly stand up show in Toronto called “Comedy Night at I’ll Be Seeing You.”
