Emma Wilkie moved to Montreal from Vancouver for no reason and does stand-up to meet people with similar social ineptitudes. She laughs in her sleep. Her personal and irreverent stories are told in an attempt to connect intimately to the rest of humanity. Emma produced the weekly stand up show There’s Something Funny Going On at Blue Dog for over four years, she won the El Drole comedy competition in the OFF-JFL Zoofest show in 2015, and once charmed an a cappella group into learning the theme song to Law & Order; SVU. Emma also co-produces Ladyfest, an annual comedy festival in Montreal and the most recent and ambitious endeavour coming out of Women In Comedy Montreal.
